Actress Heart Evangelista remains a loyal Kapuso as she just renewed another exclusive contract with the network on Tuesday.
Present at the contract signing were GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon, President and COO Gilberto Duavit, Executive Vice President and CFO Felipe Yalong and SVP for GMA Entertainment Content Group Lilybeth Rasonable.
The actress said she is thankful for all the opportunities that GMA has given her and her move to the network has been a saving grace in her career.
Evangelista was formerly a homegrown talent of ABS-CBN. It was in the early 2000s when the soft-faced chinita captured the heart of many with her beauty and charm. Immediately she became one of the most sought-after teen stars of her generation and was paired with former boyfriend John Prats.
She starred in a number of drama series and youth-oriented shows and once reigned in the network. But in 2008, the actress decided to jump to the Kapuso fence and continue her career with GMA. Since then, she remained a loyal Kapuso and is among the network’s prime stars. /muf
