In a recent interview he gave at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts in the United Kingdom, the music icon talked about some of the musicians he looks up to.

It didn’t come as a surprise that his list included fellow Beatles John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
“John who was pretty cool, as well as George and Ringo,” said Paul, who’s set to release his 17th solo studio album, “Egypt Station,” soon.

“When we worked together on something, what would often happen is that whoever would be the creator of a song, would bring in the first verse. Then, we would sit down and take it from there,” he expounded on his songwriting process with John.
