Sexy actress Nathalie Hart confirmed on Wednesday that she is four months pregnant.
The actress confirmed it an interview with members of the entertainment press as she was talking about her relationship with her Indian fiance Mayank Sharma.
She is just going up the peak of her career when her unexpected pregnancy came. But nonetheless, she’s happy about it.
She is also set to marry her fiance in December, even before she learned of her pregnancy, which came to her as a shock.
“Umiyak ako [she cried],” she said. “It’s not funny talaga [really],” she said.
First thing that came to her mind was whether she could continue helping members of her family, some of which she was to send to school because of her breakthrough in showbiz.
“Paano ko kaya ito magagawa? Wala pa ko masyado ipon. Wala pa ko masyado napundar,” she said. “So I want something na kahit papano kumpleto na yung napundar ko bago ko mapunta diyan.”
[How can I keep doing this. I have not saved much. I have not acquired much. So I want something that somehow I could provide ofr something before I get into that situation.]
Not leaving showbiz
She would prefer to have done series of teleseryes and movies and become more settled before she jumps into motherhood, But she no longer has the luxury to think about could-have-beens now that she has a coming baby to consider.
She also said that her husband-to-be understood that she still has pending commitments to fulfill. So she would have to return to work after giving birth.
Hart is set to fly to Australia soon for her wedding and her baby’s delivery.
She would have to return, she said, to fulfill prior film commitments here.
“And then depende na lang kung mabibigyan ako ng ABS-CBN ng project ulit,” she said. “ don’t know, maybe they will give me a mommy role, kasi nanay na ko,” she said.
Unlike before, when she took on no-holds-barred roles, as in “Sin Island,” she will no longer be doing daring projects when she becomes a mother.
“Hindi na ko papayagan. Baka may sumibol na after me,” she said.
[I won’t be allowed. Someone else might rise after me.]
Hart said her fiance understood that her roles contradict what she really was in real life.
“Yung ginawa ko naman it was a stepping stone for me to get here,” she said.
[What I did was just a a stepping stone for me to get there.]
While she regrets not being able to do such roles anymore, she’s happy about how everything turned out for her.
Her 25-year-old fiance runs a real estate business in India, which makes her happy knowing that their life together as husband and wife would be financially secure.
But she does not see herself living in in India in the near future.
“That’s later on in life,” she said. “For me India is too far away.”
She said she would consider it when her child had grown older and when her partner would need to return to India.
“But he’s making a business here din sa Pilipinas,” she said. “Kaya walang problema.”
According to her, despite the sexy roles she’s done, her fiance is very much secure of their relationship, especially now that they are going to be parents.
Never thought of abortion
Unlike other celebrities who choose to get rid of their children in favor of their careers, Hart said she never thought resorting to abortion.
“Mas gusto ko mawalan ako ng career at ituloy ko na lang ito kesa naman one day I would regret yung ginawa ko,” she said.
[I prefer to lose my career and continue my pregnancy instead of one day regretting what I had done.]
The actress is slated to make nine more movies which she will finish when she gets back. /atm
