Before she became the darling of the pop music scene in 1998 with her hit “…Baby One More Time,” Britney Spears got her first big television break in the variety show, “The All-New Mickey Mouse Club.”
It has been 25 years since she first appeared in the program, which also served as a launching pad for the careers of Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling.
Is she up for a possible reunion with her fellow “Mouseketeers”?
“They would have to plan it. I would go, definitely,” the pop star said in a recent interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “It was a great time. It was probably one of the most special times in my life.”
Looking back at her career, Britney mused that, after her debut, things seemed to just whiz past.
“It has been so fast. I feel like I just started yesterday,” she related. “It’s like everything still feels very new, which I guess is a blessing.”
“But it has been a roller-coaster,” Britney stressed.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
