For some people, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the Pope — Richard Yap became one of the lucky and blessed few to meet His Holiness.

While in Vatican City, the “Sana Dalawa Ang Puso” star met the head of the Catholic Church on Friday, July 6. Yap shared the moment to his fans on his Instagram page.

In his posted video, Yap could be seen shaking hands with Pope Francis after mass was celebrated. He said that he felt “so blessed” to get close to him, as he was invited for the mass. He added that he almost missed the opportunity because he was supposed to leave the next day.
