‘Respeto’ bags 6 major awards at Eddys

The Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) has announced the winners of the 2nd Entertainment Editor’s Awards (Eddy’s) held last July 9 at the Solaire.

Abra’s “Respeto” made a sweep at the Eddys when it bagged the Best Film, Best Supporting Actor (Dido Dela Paz), Best Sound Design, Best Musical Score, Best Original Theme Song and Best Supporting Actress (Chai Fonacier) awards.

Meanwhile, Aga Muhlach once again proved his stellar acting chops when he bagged the Best Actor award for his performance in his movie 2017 family movie “Seven Sundays.”

Two other 2017 Manila Film Festival entries made it big at the Eddy’s. Coco Martin’s “Ang Panday” won the Best Visual Effects while “Deadma Walking” bagged the Best Screenplay award.
