CineFilipino 2018 goes to UP Diliman July 9-14

Movie enthusiasts are in for a treat as Cine Filipino 2018 entries will be shown at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City from July 9-14.

The films will be showcased at the UPFI Film Center-Cine Adarna. Short films, on the other hand will be at the UP Film Institute Videotheque.

During Cine Filipino’s awards night at the Kia Theater on May 12, Yeng Constantino and TJ Trinidad’s “The Eternity Between Seconds” won as Best Film. The film’s director, Alec Figuracion, won the Best Direction award.

Best Actress: Rosemarie Gil, Delia and Sammy

1st Runner-up Film: Siyudad sa Bulawan
Short Features: (Student) Best Film: Santa Nena by Tim Rone Villanueva of DLS College of St Benilde
1st Runner-up Film: Mark and Lenny by Gio Potes of UP Diliman
Best Ensemble: Gusto Kita with All My Hypothalamus

Best Supporting Actress: Ritz Azul, Mata Tapang
Best Supporting Actor: Nico Antonio for Delia and Sammy
Best Screenplay: Mga Mister ni Rosario
Best Cinematography: The Eternity Between Seconds
Best Production Design: Gusto Kita with All My Hypothalamus
Best Editing: The Eternity Between Seconds
