Host and model Tricia Centenera revealed on her Instagram account last June 30 that she and non-showbiz boyfriend and real estate developer Duane Santos are having a baby. Earlier in March, Centenera wrote an entry in her personal blog, triciacentenera.net, about her failed marriage with ex-husband Gab Valenciano.
These days, things are looking up for Centenera as she and Santos gear up for the arrival of their baby. In her Instagram post, Centenera shared a snap of her growing baby bump to accompany the touching prayer that she wrote.
“I pray right now for love for my baby growing inside of me. Jesus, fill my child with Your Agape love throughout her entire life,” wrote Centenera. “Please, give her a heart that overflows with love for You and for others. Keep my child from loving the things of this world, such as money, immorality or even other people, more than my child loves You.”
It was revealed in the couple’s gender reveal party last June 30 that they will be having a baby girl after they popped black balloons with pink confetti.
Centenera also prayed for her and her partner to be able to teach their child about love. “Jesus, please help me & my dear partner to teach my child that love is patient and love is kind,” wrote Centenera. “Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails.”
Many were touched by Centenera’s post, with fans and even strangers all over the world commenting on her picture to give their greetings.
“Congrats gorgeous Tricia, I may not know you in person but I’m truly happy for you!” wrote a certain Eudora (@eudoraluvart). “Praying everything goes well for your pregnancy. Much love from a fan in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.”
Another netizen, a certain Katrina (@katrina.reyes_), from Australia, also reveled in Centenera’s pregnancy news. “Hey from Oz @triciacentenera Congratulations! We’ve never met but I’ve been following you and your journey for a while now and I’m so happy for you and your baby news! Wishing you and your little fam all the love and happiness.”
