Actor JC de Vera is finally opening up about his baby girl two months after she was born.
The “Since I Found You” actor posted a series of photos of baby Lana Athena from her christening. His post doesn’t identify the mother, which other reports have been identified as his non-showbiz girlfriend Rikkah Cruz. Last May, the birth of his child was only confirmed through his manager.
“My Strength. My happiness. My Inspiration. My motivation. My Love. My Life,” he said of the sentimental pictures.
De Vera’s Instagram stories reveal more of the baby’s birth and her first month of life. He seems smitten with his daughter, with many of the photos showing him cradling her or resting on him.

Actress Nadia Montenegro was one of the godparents. Co-stars on gag show “Banana Sundae” John Prats and Pooh were also present.
De Vera, 32, has preferred to keep his personal life low-key, but it seems that celebrating the birth and christening of his first child is a perfect opportunity to be loud and proud.
As to how fatherhood has transformed him, De Vera told ABS-CBN News in an exclusive interview: “Mas naging responsible ako in all aspects of life. Mas naging compassionate ako kasi meron akong daughter na.” (I’ve become more responsible in all aspects of life. I’ve become more compassionate because I now have a daughter.) JB
