Gorillaz performed their upcoming album “The Now Now” in full this weekend at Boiler Room Tokyo, and the performance is now available to watch in full, for a limited time.
The band livestreamed their performance via YouTube, and according to Boiler Room Tokyo, the livestream will be “re-looping” for 24 hours only.
The performance included audio-visual elements and featured Snoop Dogg appearing on screen, among many highlights.
“The Now Now” will release in full on Friday, June 29. It includes the just-released track “Hollywood”, featuring Snoop Dogg and Jamie Principle, as well as the previously shared songs “Fire Flies”, “Humility”, “Lake Zurich” and “Sorcererz”.
The album comes a year after the band’s LP “Humanz” which was their first since 2011. JB
