Spoiler-Man strikes again.

Tom Holland, a.k.a. Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is known for his other alter ego who slips on details while promoting movies. It has come to the point that “Avengers” co-star Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr. Strange) has had to save the franchise by interrupting Holland’s sentences.

However, it seems Marvel has embraced the 22-year-old actor’s quirk and used it to promote the upcoming Spidey sequel.

During the ACE Comic Con in Seattle, Holland posted a video on his personal Instagram page. He said, “I want to apologize because there’s no real revelations about ‘Spider-Man 2’.”

“I don’t know much about it. I’m a little confused because I died [in “Infinity War”] so I don’t really know how it all comes into play,” Holland said.

“But I do know is I’ve got the new script,” he said while holding up an iPad blaring the title: “Spider-Man 2: Far From Home”.

“Sorry for no announcements, but I love you guys,” he wrote in the video’s caption.

For a nondescript promotion, the video has become a success, racking up 3.8 million views since it was posted on Saturday, June 23.

The title could perhaps indicate that the movie will take place outside of Spider-Man’s neighborhood of New York. Sony boss Amy Pascal told Fandom in June 2017 that the sequel picks up just minutes after Avengers 4, which will be released on April 2019.

Shooting for “Spider-Man 2: Far From Home” begins on July 2018, while the release date is on July 5, 2019. JB
