Expect a new movie from Nadine Lustre coming soon, this time without James Reid.
Lustre’s upcoming film will pair her with Xian Lim, as announced in a story conference by Viva Entertainment yesterday, June 20.
It was also revealed that their movie will be titled “Ulan”. Joining them will be AJ Muhlach and Marco Gumabao.
Taking the director’s seat for “Ulan” will be Irene Villamor, who is currently enjoying box office success with the hit “Sid and Aya: Not a Love Story” starring Anne Curtis and Dingdong Dantes.
In Villamor’s Instagram post last June 13, she teased some pages turning yellowish in color, which turns out to be the script for the movie.
“[K]ada umuulan, nagrerevise ako nitong script na nagsimula sa isang maikling kwento sinulat ko maraming taon na ang nakaraan,” Villamor wrote about the movie. (Every time it rained, I would revise this script that started as a short story I wrote years ago.)
The script for the movie appears to have first been written back in 2005. She described the movie as “ang una kong pag-ibig, ang unang sipon at lagnat (my first love, first colds and fever).”
During the conference, Villamor declined to reveal more details about the movie, but teased that it will be about self-love. No release date has been set yet.
