After years of hard work and juggling her time between studies and show business, Valerie Concepcion’s efforts have finally paid off.
The actress had a bright smile on her graduation portrait, which she shared on Instagram yesterday, June 20. Concepcion is part of this year’s batch of Psychology graduates in Arellano University.
Concepcion thanked her loved ones who “pushed/inspired me to finish my studies.” She also expressed her gratitude to her professors, classmates and the university’s Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) “for helping me make my dream of finishing college come true.”
The EETEAP is an alternative education program by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). It allows working individuals to attain their bachelor’s degree without going through traditional schooling methods.
“I am so so so happy to finally have a degree!” the actress enthused.
Several netizens left congratulatory comments on her post. One @jowenmari is happy that he and Concepcion are products of the same university.
