Glowing, slimmer Kris: ‘Hashtag Mayor, this is what you’re missing’

/ 02:47 PM June 20, 2018

They say a woman’s “best revenge” against a past love is to be beautiful and strong and the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino sure knows how to make an ex regret losing her.

At the recent press conference for her upcoming movie “I Love You Hater,” entertainment columnist Rey Pumaloy complimented her on her looks. “Saan nanggagaling ito Kris?” (Where is this coming from, Kris?) he asked.

“Honestly, Kuya Rey kilala mo ko, may pinapatunayan ako. Meron akong gustong makanood nito at magsisi. Lahat who work for KCAP know this na hindi kumakain, minsan tinitiis talaga dahil, ang greatest motivation talaga ng kahit sinong babae and Julia knows this is to make those who made you feel that you were not good enough regret their mistake,” she said.

(Rey you know me, I want to prove something. There’s someone whom I want to watch this and regret. Everyone who works for KCAP [Kris Aquino Cojuanco Productions] know this that I don’t eat, sometimes I really endure it, because the greatest motivation of any woman – and Julia knows this – is to make those who made you feel you were not good enough regret their mistake,)

“Beauty na hindi na sa’yo,” (Beauty that’s no longer yours) Kris said.

“Kinailangan ko lang na maramdaman niya at kailangan ko marinig niya na sinasabi mo ‘yan ngayon. Kinailangan ko na ‘pag napanood sa big screen dahil alam ko naman kung ilan ang billboards na tataas, para everytime madaan sa billboard, masasamid,” she said.

(I need him to feel and I need him to hear what you are saying that now. I need that when this seen on the big screen – because I know how how many billboards will be up, everytime that he will come across one, he will choke.)

Pumaloy then challenged the actress, “Kris itodo na natin, tanggalin na natin ang blaizer.” (Kris, let’s give it all, let’s take off the blazer)

Without any fuss, the Queen of All Media heeded the request and took off her pricey blazer. The audience exploded as Aquino showed off her flawless white skin and noticeably slimmer physique.

“Tatayo na ‘ko sa gitna, o, eto, Hashtag, Mayor, this is what you’re missing,” she said. (I will stand up, here. Hashtag, Mayor, this is what you’re missing)

With no holds barred, Kris dropped the name of her famous ex-boyfriend, Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

‘Bistek finds it hard to praise me’

In an interview with the media, she was asked to elaborate on what she did.

“‘Di naman ako nag-si-sinungaling, alam ko naman ‘pag pangit ako at alam ko naman ‘pag attractive ako at alam ko naman kung anong itsura ko ngayon,” she said.

(I am not a liar. I know when I look ugly and I know when I’m attractive. I also know how I look today.)

“Hirap na hirap siyang purihin ako. But everybody close to me already said magaling siya, magaling siyang tactician kasi wini-withhold niya sakin, the reason he has been able to linger is because of that,” she said.

(He finds it hard to praise me. But everybody close to me said that he’s actually a good tactician because he was withholding that from me, the reason he has been able to linger is because of that.)   /vvp
