WATCH: Jared Leto, Jimmy Fallon eat cookies from their foreheads in ’30 seconds to…’ challenge

Jimmy Fallon and Jared Leto went head-to-head in a series of hilarious challenges — such as eating cookies from their foreheads and throwing CDs into sliced watermelons.

The talk show host challenged the actor on the segment “30 seconds to…” named after Leto’s band Thirty Seconds to Mars, in an episode of “The Tonight Show” which aired Monday, June 18.

Both first battled it out with cookies. The two had a hard time since part of the stipulation was that they can’t use their hands to move the cookies.

But Fallon and Leto had some tactics in mind to move the cookie by using their facial muscles. Leto luckily managed to catch his food using his tongue, seconds after the clock buzzed for time’s up.

The next challenge was pulling out all the tissue from the box using only one hand. The challengers hurriedly pulled every sheet that was inside each of their boxes, with Fallon succeeding in this round as the clock hit the 16-second mark.

For their last battle, both had to throw discs into sliced watermelons, which announcer Steve Higgins said were “30 Seconds to Mars CDs.” Leto was the first to get a CD stuck into his watermelon, but the host was once again the victor in this round by getting three discs stuck.

In the end, there were no hard feelings. Fallon held his opponent’s hand as a sign of sportsmanship, and even called Leto “The Champ.” JB
