Lili Reinhart as Betty in “Riverdale”
Actress Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper in the teen-centric series “Riverdale,” recently posted on Instagram Stories about an unglamorous picture that caused some confounding rumors.
“It’s unfortunate that one unflattering photo of my stomach circulating the internet causes hundreds of people to think that I’m pregnant,” said Reinhart in one text post.
“Sometimes, an unflattering photo is taken of me,” she followed up in another note. “Sometimes, I go through periods of time where I gain weight.”
Reinhart was seen kissing his costar Cole Sprouse in Paris last April.
The two have been hanging out a lot, and went together to the Met Gala in New York City last month.
Despite that “unflattering” photo, however, the actress declared, “My body is something that I will never apologize for.”OLIVER PULUMBARIT
