Alden Richards fulfills promise to EB’s senior citizen winner

All the stories about Kapuso actor Alden Richard’s generosity and kind-heartedness are indeed true as the country’s Pambansang Bae fulfilled his promise of providing monthly allowance to a senior citizen he met on long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”

Being reminded of his own grandmother, Richards was quickly endeared to Lola Alberta who won last June 9 at the “Juan for All All for Juan” segment of the show.

In an Instagram post of @kyliedoscope, the photos show that Richards personally delivered his promise to the 81-year-old grandmother. Also indicated in the post is the actor’s desire to see through the situation of Lola Alberta.

Richards has always been open of how thankful he was for the opportunity to make it big in showbiz. In past interviews, he has revealed how life was too hard for him growing up. His family was financially struggling and did everything to make ends meet. It was only until he found his break into the industry that his life was changed. /muf
