Budget airline company Cebu Pacific admitted that the luggage of Kapamilya actress Kiray Celis was indeed “unintentionally misplaced” however, all is well now and her item has been recovered.
Charo Logarta Lagamon, Director for Corporate Communications of Cebu Pacific, sent a response to the INQUIRER.net via e-mail.
“Ms. Kiray Celis’ luggage was unintentionally misplaced. Luggage was already delivered to her yesterday right when she posted on IG. She was also given compensation for the inconvenience. We expressed our sincerest apologies to Ms. Celis for the incident,” said Lagamon.
Celis recently exploded on social media over a misplaced luggage that happened to her upon her arrival in Davao via a Cebu Pacific flight.
Through a series of fiery tweets, the young actress slammed the airline company for their “poor service.”
As for the compensation mentioned by the airline, Celis likewise said in her rants that indeed she was offered a P3,000 cash in exchange for every 24 hours that her item would remain missing.
Cebu Pacific also stressed that they hope their response puts the issue to rest. /jpv
