Expect a new animated film that will surely make you laugh in “Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story.”
In the teaser released last Friday, it shows a saleslady cat named Nimfa (Angelica Panganiban) sneaking back into her home after a rendezvous with her lover. She is then caught by her mutt-boyfriend Roger, voiced by Robin Padilla.
When asked by Roger if she had dinner, Nimfa lied that she was with her friend Jhermelyn. The cat also apologized for not sending a text message.
In a sudden turn of events, Roger slaps Nimfa. He also confronts her, saying that Jhermelyn told him the truth that she was not with her friend. She begs for his forgiveness.
After being called “malandi” (cheater), she retaliates by slapping him back and said, “Wag mo akong tatawaging ganyan (Don’t you ever call me that)!”
The video also features additional characters: a good-looking husky (Sam Milby), a waiter frog (Empoy Marquez) and a saleslady bunny (Arci Muñoz).
“Hayop Ka! The Nimfa Dimaano Story” will be released under Spring Films, the film producer that released “Kita Kita.” The movie will be directed by Avid Liongoren of “Saving Sally” fame. No release date for the flick has been announced. /ra
