Aiko Melendez showed love for her fellow actress and friend Gelli de Belen as the latter turned a year older.
The two were all smiles in a photo posted on Melendez’s Instagram. She first greeted her mare a happy birthday on Friday.
“We are so blessed to have a friend like you, who always got our backs,” Melendez said in gratitude. “Your never ending concern for me is exceptional.”
Melendez expressed how much she loved De Belen and said she was an inspiration “in so many ways…[f]rom your personal life to your sexy body ahahahah!”
She also thanked De Belen “for being the ate (older sister) that I never had.”
“Your love for me, @mina_villaroel (Carmina Villaroel) and @iamcandypangilinan (Candy Pangilinan) will forever be a blessing to us!”
De Belen was touched by Melendez’s greeting and said her thanks in return.

Meanwhile, the birthday celebrator also received a delicious cake from her niece Inah de Belen and her rumored boyfriend, Jhake Vargas.
And while she turned 45 that day, De Belen was still a trooper as she was on her way to work to shoot the upcoming Kapuso show “Ika-5 na Utos.”
