He may be the mighty god of thunder Thor, but Chris Hemsworth showed he can be silly too.
The Australian actor was very passionate as he performed Miley Cyrus’ 2013 hit “Wrecking Ball,” as seen in a Facebook video Thursday.
In the 25-second video, Hemsworth was joking around with his three kids Tristan, Sasha and India Rose at home. Unlike in the song’s music video where Cyrus was naked in a wrecking ball, Hemsworth was fully clothed wearing a sweatshirt and pants.
At one point, he lip-synced some of the lyrics to his dog. The actor’s over-dramatic performance involved him lying on the floor, with his canine playfully biting him.
“What started as a ground breaking music video ended in a savage attack by a cowardly K9,” Hemsworth wrote in the caption. He even joked: “Never work with Kids or Animals.”
Hemsworth’s video is now viral with 157,000 likes and reactions and 29,997 shares as of this writing.
Cyrus reacted to Hemsworth’s performance with three heart emojis, showing that she herself loved it. The singer is engaged to his younger brother, Liam.
