LOOK: Bangs Garcia’s baby Amelia gets baptized in England
An overjoyed Bangs Garcia with her British-Filipino businessman husband Lloyd Birchmore celebrated their baby daughter’s May 20 christening in England.
The parents were beaming with pride, as their darling Amelia became the charming center of attention for the day. Garcia shared the best photos from her little one’s special day on Instagram yesterday, May 21.
The elated Garcia had this wish for Amelia for her christening: “My precious daughter, Amelia, may your heart be kind, your spirit strong to see the good and right the wrong. May Lord Jesus create an [armor] of grace and luck around you that will protect and keep you safe all your life.”
“This is just the beginning of your walk with Him that will last forever,” she added. Garcia then congratulated her daughter on her baptism and welcomed her to the “family of faith.”
The actress also posted a mother-daughter comparison. Garcia noted that she wore something similar to Amelia’s outfit, back when she was baptized in 1987.
On the sidelines of the event, Garcia and Birchmore did not shy away from doing “The expected IG pose vs. our reality poses” and “Modest vs. Silly”
The parents indeed looked cool and wacky with their shades on. Amelia also sported pink sunglasses, looking up in the heavens in a funny way, while her mom and dad made faces for the camera.
