Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu was all too proud as she just could not contain her happiness over the latest achievement of her brother, John Paul Yap Chiu, who is now a professional pilot in Canada.
In her Instagram post on May 17, she uploaded photos of them together, reuniting in Canada.
“Isa ka nang ganap na pilot!!! happy for you john!!! watching you do all those things that you dreamt about; before nag doubt pako kung kaya mo to live in canada away from us to study and double job on the side, congrats john you made it!!! kaya after 4 years it’s about time for us to visit you! for the first time kumpleto kami,” she wrote.
In another post, the actress made a video of her together with her siblings – Lakam and William – for a city tour aboard a helicopter courtesy of his brother.
Kim has always been a bold believer that dreams are possible with hard work and perseverance. The actress has always been openly telling people about their financial struggles back in the day and has been explicitly thanking showbiz for changing their lives.
Chiu just got off from the huge success of her horror-comedy movie “D.O.T.G.A: Da One Dat Ghost Away” with Korean comedian Ryan Bang. A special screening for the movie was organized, and housemates from across all batches of the reality show “Pinoy Big Brother” watched the film.
The actress expressed her gratitude not only to Big Brother who made the reunion possible but also to her fellow housemates for their support.
Kim Chiu joined the Pinoy Big Brother in 2006 as a teen housemate, and eventually emerged as the big winner. Since then, she has become one of the biggest young stars of her generation. /kga
