She may have walked away from show business, but Carol Banawa showed that she is happy to take on a different path.
The former singer showed that hard work does pay off as she is set to attain her nursing degree in the United States. Not only that, she is also graduating summa cum laude.
Her latest achievement was shared by music manager David Cosico on his Facebook account on Friday. To show his appreciation, Cosico jokingly spelled summa cum laude as “Carol Banawa Crisostomo.”
She shared back in September 2017 her journey to become a registered nurse. In this photo, she expressed how excited she was to be assigned in the operating room for clinicals. She said: “Felt like a kid in a toy store so excited and eager to see more!”
Banawa is known for hits “Bakit Di Totohanin” and “Iingatan Ka”. She is now based in the US with her husband, Ryan Crisostomo. They have two children together named Chelsea and River. /ra
