Even years after starring together in the hit movie franchise “Ang Tanging Ina”, Jiro Manio and Ai-Ai delas Alas have kept their love and concern for each other.
Delas Alas showed how much she cares for Manio as she surprised him for his 26th birthday. The moment was documented and posted on delas Alas’ Instagram page today.
The comedienne was seen bringing out a birthday cake for her anak, and was delightfully singing “Happy Birthday” to him.
“Happy birthday shammy (sa [Tanging Ina]) jiro..,” delas Alas first greeted and called as his “… aking anak sa pelikula at sa totoong buhay.” (My son on-screen and in real life.)
Her wish for the once-troubled actor? “…wish ko for you maka balik ka na ng tuluyan sa mundo ng showbiz at tuluyan na din ang iyong pag babago.” (I wish that you can finally come back in the world of showbiz and for the changes in your life to continue.)
Netizens lauded delas Alas’ birthday surprise for Manio, with them saying that the actor is lucky to have a colleague such as delas Alas to care for him, even years after the movie they made.
