The Guillermo Mendoza Scholarship Foundation has finally released the winners at the 49th Box-office Entertainment Awards after a careful deliberation last May 1.

MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) 2017 official entry “Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad” lead stars Vice Ganda, Pia Wurtzbach and Daniel Padilla were hailed as Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema.

“Gandarrapiddo” is now the highest grossing Filipino movie of all time earning over half a billion pesos in gross sales.

ABS-CBN love team Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are this year’s Prince and Princess of Philippine Movies and TV.

Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano are the Box-office King and Queen for their movie “My Ex and Whys.”

GMA7 and Kapamilya leading men Dingdong Dantes and Aga Muhlach both got the Best Actor nod for their performance in the film “Seven Sundays.”

Funny man Empoy Marquez is still reaping success from his sleeper hit “Kita Kita” as it had just given him another recognition as the Breakthrough Movie Actor of the Year. His successful experimental team-up with Alessandra de Rossi won the Breakthrough Movie Love Team.

Teen sensations Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto were awarded the Most Popular Love Team of Movies & TV.

Gabby Concepcion won as TV Actor of the year for “Ika-6 Na Utos,” while rival show “Wildflower” lead star Maja Salvador won the TV Actress of the Year.”
