It looks like “Riverdale” star Cole Sprouse is not only good at acting, he also has a keen eye for detail.
While he was in Manila almost two weeks ago, April 20, for a meet-and-greet event, the actor roamed around the metro and took shots to document his visit. He posted some of these pictures on Instagram.
Sprouse preferred to photograph the usual hustle-and-bustle of Filipino life rather than the country’s famous landmarks. He first posted a photo of a man riding his pedicab with children playing in the background.
“These casper ads are getting more niche,” Sprouse wrote as caption for his photo of a man looking peaceful in his nap, above a stack of wrapped goods.
He also posted a photo of a neighborhood, where the residents may not have been aware they were being photographed by an international star.
Everyday life was highlighted in his shots, as in one photo showing people crossing an overpass under the heat of the sun.
He also posted a photo of a woman selling fresh seafood.
In one street shot, one man who could be a cigarette vendor, was able to look right at the actor’s lens.
That’s the jungle of Manila in the eyes of Riverdale’s Jughead. JB
