WATCH: Bimby throws unfiltered questions at Kris Aquino about her love life

Will Bimby Aquino-Yap follow mom Kris’ footsteps to be the King of All Media?

By the looks of it, he impressed fans with his no-holds-barred questions that most people have been longing to ask Kris. Their one-on-one interview was documented in the “Unscripted with Kris and Bimb” video posted on the Youtube “The Aquinos” yesterday, May 1.

Scrolling through his device, the 11-year-old boy asked first the simple questions, such as what would be the one thing Kris would eat for the rest of her life, and the one thing she hates about him and his older brother, Josh.

But things turned juicy when Bimby brought up Aquino’s love life. The first question her curious son asked was “Who was your first love?” He tried to mumble the first syllable of her supposed lover’s name — “A… A… AL…,” teased Bimby — but Aquino said “Bimb, nananahimik (he’s staying quiet). Happily married. Let’s keep it that way.”

Bimby also asked about the possibility of his mom loving someone again in the future, but the boy quickly said in jest, “Yeah, but who’s good enough for you? We’ll just ridicule him, me and kuya (Joshua)?”

Another question Bimby asked was “Will you ever love someone more than me and kuya in the future?” This really got Kris’ attention. Besides replying “Never,” she remarked that those who plan to court her should accept this fact: “[H]aving a relationship with Kris Aquino means having a relationship with the entire Philippines.”

Aquino also expressed that she will be lenient when the time comes for Bimby to have a girlfriend in college. As he asked her to choose a partner for him, out of his fears caused by peer pressure, she instead told him: “I’m going to give you the freedom of choice.” Kris then turned naughty-playful by saying, “No, you have the freedom of choice. I have the freedom to bash.”

And when their interview was almost over, Aquino decided to turn the tables on her son and asked him: “What did I do right?” She went on, “How is it that you turned out not spoiled? You turned out nice to people. You turned out polite.” Bimby answered, “Because all the trauma, you told me, ‘Bimb, don’t give up.'”

“How come when I get affected by bashers and I get affected by the negativity, why are you able to tell me, ‘Mama, why do you care?'” she further asked. “Where does it come from?”

The boy then turned a bit serious and explained: “Because you know who manipulated me, and was the most effective basher. I channeled all of it out on him.”

“So, I don’t really care anymore about those others because I know they can’t hurt me as much as he hurt me,” Bimby went on. It was not clear who’s the “basher” he was referring to.

A stunned Kris then said these words, while turning to the camera, “I don’t know if I should have asked that but I did, and you got an answer.”

The two ended the interview by exchanging I-love-yous, with Bimby giving his mom a kiss on her forehead.

Though only 11 years old, Bimby has consistently showed his fearlessness of bashers. Based on the interview, it can be seen that the boy wishes his mother to be as strong as he is. JB
