Little Scarlet Snow Belo may have just discovered the joy of cooking, that is by learning how to roast a pig on her new kitchen play set using a stuffed toy pig.

The little chef received a toy kitchen set from educational toy seller ToyTinkr earlier this week, which she helped to put together herself.

Here’s the completed play set, and who would have thought a three-year-old girl had a hand in assembling it?

Her mom, Dr. Vicki Belo, noted that the kitchen set came from an anonymous fan. Meanwhile, a video uploaded by ToyTinkr showed Scarlet thanking a “Tita Rosette.”

In a video posted via the @scarletsnowbelo_ Instagram fan account, the internet darling can be seen playing with an adult friend who was at first a bit resistant to Scarlet’s cooking instructions. She had to remind the adult, “We’ll pretend it’s an oven! Pretend!” so he would ride along, until the skeptic playmate finally gave in with a laugh, “Ah, pretend lang, okay, fine.”

But it was in a video posted via Instagram by Vikki Belo which showed her daughter learning the basics of cooking lechon. Her girl made it look so simple: just imagine a cute pink pig stuff toy as a real pig, stuff it in the toy oven, then slam its door and wait ten minutes for it to cook.

Scarlet even appeared to feel sorry for the pig when she went “Awww…” just as she declared to “cook the baby pig.”

Scarlet soon got over the pig’s sad fate, and stood up saying, “We should play some more!”

Later on, chef Scarlet looked for a plate where she could place the cooked “lechon.” Dr. Belo suggested that she use a round pillow for a plate. Scarlet quickly responded, “There? That’s not a plate, that’s a chair! It’s a soft chair!”

Mom then suggested they improvise and offered a round plastic cover as a plate for the cooked lechon. Scarlet then dropped the pig on the “plate” straight out of the oven and exclaimed “Too big!” before picking it up and walking away.

Scarlet certainly has a lot of options for a career path. So far, she’s tried being a spy a la Black Widow, a tomb raider like Lara Croft, and even expressed she wanted to be a dermatologist one day. With this latest venture into the culinary arts, though imaginary, she can add being a chef to the list. Alfed Bayle/JB
