English actor Gregg Sulkin, who plays athlete-brainiac Chase Stein in the hit Hulu series “Runaways,” expressed gratitude for being in show biz, something he does often in his Instagram posts.

“I’m gonna be walking on this beautiful lot for the next few months,” the 25-year-old actor said of filming at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles, in a video he uploaded to Instagram Stories. “I just want to say one thing—if people doubt you and say you can’t do things, like my drama teacher did when I was a kid, ignore them. Keep working hard. You’ll get there.”

Sulkin, who was in “Wizards of Waverly Place” and “Faking It,” will be back for the second season of “Runaways,” which is based on Marvel’s reluctant teen heroes. He thanked his parents for helping realize his dream: “Mom and Dad, thank you for sitting outside this lot for years, hoping, praying and dreaming that I [would] one day work here. Now I am… I’m so happy to be in this crazy and wonderful industry.” —OLIVER PULUMBARIT
