An Arab-Filipino mix, Roces was no less of a stunner even as a child.

Roces, or Marinela Adad in real life, is a former teen actress who shot to fame in the early ‘90s. Gifted with captivating mestiza looks and flawless white skin, she was an instant “crush ng bayan” of her generation.
She started her career as a member of the variety show “That’s Entertainment” under the Tuesday group.
It was when she starred in the iconic ‘90s comedy movie “Alabang Girls” that she became every young man’s dream girl.
She had an unforgettable team-up with comedian/rapper Andrew E given their complexion contrast.
She also top-billed the movie “Oo Na Sige Na” in 1994 with action star Robin Padilla.
