JM de Guzman reveals having butt exposure in new serye

Kapamilya actor JM de Guzman’s return to television is no less than a bang. With an all-out acting performance, he was also all-game in baring his all, at least his butt.

However, not all scenes that required a butt exposure was his; he had a body double.

“May parts [that mine was used] and may parts na iba,” he said in the recently held press conference for his comeback teleserye “Precious Hearts Romances presents Araw Gabi” [PHR].

“Kaya kami po nag-body double ‘yung mga eksenang kailangan tumagal sa ilalim ng dagat ‘yung lang din po ‘yung pinaka reason. Nung Angelito ginawa rin ‘yun nung nag-dive si Angelito sa tubig siya rin ‘yung body double,” he added.

The PHR franchise is known for its sensual and stirring love stories that have captured a wide range of Filipino readers. Past television adaptations of the books have yielded sky-high ratings and have dominated afternoon viewing.

Hence such scenes were done because the story and the script demanded so.

De Guzman top-bills the series with newest Kapamilya leading lady Barbie Imperial who shed off her teeny bopper image to play the role of the young, positive-driven yet sensual and captivating Michelle.
