Paolo Ballesteros is known for his flawless makeup transformations to just about any local or international artist you can name. But what happens when someone tries to imitate his face?

Solenn Heussaff took on the challenge—and she considered it an “epic fail.”

The actress and singer admitted in a blog post, “Even though I paint and do makeup professionally, makeup transformation is a totally different art and requires a skill that I just don’t have in my pocket.”

Heussaff captured the entire two-hour process in a two-minute video, where she applied foundation, contour and face paint.

Mukhang tanga (You look dumb), Solenn!” she said over the outcome.

Though the contouring appears darker in the video, with proper lighting her first-time work showed that she was able to capture Ballesteros’ nose, lips and cheekbones.

And what did the makeup transformation master think? “Berigood!” said Ballesteros, with three thumbs up.

“I appreciate Paolo’s work even more now. Respect!” she said of her “My 2 Mommies” co-star.
