HBO’s Emmy-award winning science fiction “Westworld” airs the second season premiere on Monday, April 23 at 9 a.m. (with a same-day primetime replay at 10 p.m.).
“Westworld,” which debuted in 2016, is about the rise of artificial consciousness and set in a wild west-themed amusement park populated by humanoid robots with artificial intelligence.
The series boasts an ensemble cast which includes Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Ben Barnes, and Ed Harris.
In its second season, the show delves deeper into the uprising of the robots that have now become sentient entities.
It picks up from the chaos of the ending of the first season when runners of the amusement park were killed and the robots now have free reign over the park.
The action is expected to intensify as well as the complexity of the mysteries as the season goes through its ten-episode run.
A new episode airs every Monday, at 9 a.m. on HBO with a same-day primetime encore at 10 p.m., or watch it through HBO GO, best-viewed with the fiber-powered broadband of One SKY and exclusively available on SKY. /jpv
