NGC celebrates the legend of Bruce Lee

10:01 PM January 12, 2012

Three decades ago, the world lost probably the most influential martial artist within and outside of Hollywood. Yet Bruce Lee, Jeet Kune Do founder, philosopher, film director and actor, continues to live on through his legacy.

National Geographic Channel (NGC) ushers in the Year of the Dragon by giving tribute to the “Way of the Dragon” and “Enter the Dragon” star with a series of previously-unseen, raw footages of the master martial artist in action, in front of and behind the screen.

On January 17 at 9 p.m., catch the premiere of this special series of rare documentaries, footages, and home movies compiled for all Bruce Lee fans and followers. It includes personal stories and anecdotes from Ryan Philippe, Carlos Santana, Jesse Ventura, Chuck Liddell, Criss Angel, Zach Snyder, DJ Steve Aoki, Omar Epps, the Metal Mulisha motocross crew, Jabbawockeez and Herschel Walker, among others.
