Will wedding bells be finally ringing for Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola?
Everyone was surprised and excited when the actor-television host teased fans and followers about proposing to his girlfriend of almost two years. He did so simply in the comments section of his Instagram post on Thursday.
As shown in this photo, Manzano and Mendiola are all fired up as he lifts her up in the air while in the pool. Once again, netizens went abuzz over the pair’s show of affection.
But one stood out as a netizen named @darthzari first reacted “MAY GANYAAAAAAAN (There’s something like that)!” Out of curiosity, she simply joked, “Eh kung [ring emoji] na kaya (How about a [ring emoji])?” signifying that the two should take their relationship to the next level.

Manzano seemed to play along with it, and replied to the netizen, “What if natapos na (What if I did it already)? hahahahahahaha.” Riding on, @darthzari said: “Then magtatampo ako sa inyong dalawa kasi wala kayong sinabi.”

He then assured her that she’d be present when the time comes that he pops the question to his girlfriend.

After dropping the comments, the subject of marriage for the two quickly turned to questions such as when it will happen. One netizen even said that after the wedding, the two should have a baby right away.

While most comments were positive, a netizen named @jelia_sales09 posed this question to the television host: “Til [when] ang tamis (Til when is the sweetness)?”

An irked Manzano shot back at her saying: “Pag nawala na yung profile mo tungkol sa Diyos pero nagkakalat ng ka negahan (When your profile about God but spreading negativity disappears).”

Changing her tone, the netizen showed affection toward him and explained that she never got over an ex-girlfriend which she idolizes.

Despite facing unparalleled bashing and fending them off, Manzano promised Mendiola in a “Tonight with Boy Abunda” episode in November that he would give her “magandang lahi” (good genes) when they finally settle down. /ra
