“I’m more that grateful that we survived!!!” Madrigal proudly declared in her Instagram post yesterday. ” LORD, thank you so much for this second life!”

Turning serious, she said that three hours in the sea was “no joke” and that her life was “changed forever” because of the accident.

To regain her strength, she revealed she is currently recuperating at home and taking antibiotics due to pneumonia and asthma, which she contracted after drinking seawater and inhaling gasoline. And seeing the bright side of everything, she said, “[I] may have some bruises, sunburn and bouts of anxiety attack (everything is totally sinking in now) but my spirit is definitely stronger!”

“[I] just have so much love to give!” she said extultantly. “[W]ill get better coz i can’t wait to see and hug all my loved ones and friends soon!”

At the end of her post, she apologized if ever she did not respond to all messages, and said, “…but please know that it meant a whole lot! [T]hank you from the bottom of my heart!”

Messages of support quickly poured in for the actress, including those from Maxene Magalona, Adrian Alandy, Bubbles Paraiso and Diva Montelaba.
