If you were in the happiest place on Earth, what would you do? For Sponge Cola frontman Yael Yuzon and wife Karylle Padilla, they chose to belt their hearts out, Disney-style.
While on vacation at the Tokyo DisneySea in Japan on Sunday, the couple did their own rendition of “A Whole New World” from the 1992 movie “Aladdin”. A video of them singing was uploaded on the Sponge Cola official Facebook page, and has gone viral since, garnering about 141,000 likes and reactions, and 2.3 million views, as of this writing.
Yuzon kicked off the number with Aladdin’s part of the song. Padilla did not disappoint, serenading her husband as if she was Princess Jasmine.
The crowd appeared to love their performance. As they were singing side by side, people started to notice. In fact, one fan was even starstruck and asked to take a photo with them, but the show must go on and they sang towards the end.
