Dazzling artist’s #MeToo moment with rapacious vet

12:15 AM April 04, 2018

Dark tales of abuse are rampant in Show Town.

Jaunty Artiste was then a clueless newcomer.

JA made sure to bring along a guardian to a meeting with Ravenous Veteran. Alas, RV was one step ahead and locked JA’s chaperone out of the conference room.

RV then grabbed JA’s family jewels. Shocked, JA was momentarily immobilized.

FEATURED STORIES

JA, however, was able to brush aside RV’s paws and scamper away.

JA had wanted to file a case against RV, but fearful advisers eventually prevailed in the end.

Additional cases of molestation are piling up in the biz.

The latest incidents involve naïve neophytes, who were victimized by well-entrenched insiders. Curiously, these wannabe abusers aren’t among the richest and most powerful execs in the industry.

They were previously perceived as bottom feeders, but now they swim along with the top predators.

Times are a-changing.

Friendly terms

The previous piece of scuttlebutt reminded some people of the supposed “love affair” between Sizzling Dazzler and Raunchy Eccentric, a perfect specimen of a bottom feeder.

No wonder RE pulled out all the stops to drumbeat budding SD’s lackluster career.

Years later, when SD was no longer as scorching-hot, RE still came to the rescue. SD bagged a plum part largely due to RE’s maneuverings.

That’s what “friends” are for.

Reinvention

Seems Amorous Vixen’s checkered past is coming back to haunt everyone … Not just AV, but past lovers are getting entangled in a web of controversies, as well.

Turned out AV was ravaged by Felonious Raptor years ago. Instead of wallowing in self-pity, AV turned misfortune into a thriving enterprise. AV went pro and built a steady clientele among FR’s minions.

Nowadays, AV is no longer as in demand as before. Was that the reason why AV changed jobs: From product to procurer? Was AV once in the business of selling nubile newbies to the highest bidder?

For bitter or worse

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Just a few weeks back, these two were as sweet as corn syrup. Now, this blossoming affair has quickly turned as acidic as vinegar, if not as bitter as bile.

Gifted Juvenile is currently not on good terms with Bodacious Jezebel.

According to the rumor mill, BJ caught GJ canoodling with another cutie—some nobody from the boondocks, the fans exclaimed. BJ went berserk.

Worse, even GJ’s coworker, Aspiring Luminary, was implicated and incurred the ire of BJ’s rabid followers.

Top of the show biz news

For those who missed last weekend’s show biz news on TV (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Rachel Alejandro on how she spent Holy Week: “It’s time for family and a time to reflect on what’s important.” (Amen.)

Ogie Alcasid on his most memorable Holy Week: “One time sa Boracay, magkakasama kami nu’n lahat, sina Michelle (van Eimeren), ako, with the kids. It was fun.” (The family that vacations together …)

Anne Curtis, asked if she, Vice Ganda and Nadine Lustre—who all have their own makeup lines—are in a competition: “I believe that there’s room for everyone … I thank you!” (Uwian na …)

Nadine on vacationing in Thailand with James Reid: “One week is already long for us. And our bosses were kind enough to give us that.” (Huh? Were they gone?)

Nathalie Hart on landing a comedy project: “I’m happy. I really want to work in that genre.” (Time to show off her funny bone, for a change.)

Lara Quigaman confirms second pregnancy: “Magiging kuya na si Noah. My son wants a baby sister. Sana maging OK ang lahat.” (Tobaccos for everyone!)
