Fans were saddened by the news that Kapamilya actress Nadine Lustre will no longer be doing the horror film “The Nurse.”
The latest development came out only through a Twitter exchange between film director Jun Robles Lana and some netizens.
Lana dropped the bomb when he answered a fan’s query about the project. It only took two hashtags to break Lustre’s fans’ hearts, “#SorryNotHappening” and “Move On.”
In another tweet, the director reiterated “My film. My rules.”
Such pull out is basically because of the actress’ very hectic schedules that, according to the director has taken a big toll on the film.
“Scheduling conflict. Been waiting too long and it’s taken too much of my time. Going to Japan 2x to prep is no joke. Time to move on let go and recast. Thanks for the interest guys,” he wrote.
Just recently, Lustre and real-life boyfriend James Reid were dragged into a controversy involving blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina and her controversial Twitter exchange with netizens.
The conversation broke out because Molina said JaDine is “hard to work with.” As a fan asked her why she has said so and that she should not be believing hearsays, Molina reasoned that her info came from “Never Not Love You” director herself Antoinette Jadaone and producer Dan Villegas.
Molina then apologized to Jadaone and Villegas for talking about it publicly. /jpv
