After admitting she did not know anything about the government’s “Build, Build, Build” program, Bb. Pilipinas candidate Sandra Lemonon was given the opportunity to read more about it.
In the coronation night of the pageant held Sunday at the Araneta Colisuem, Lemonon was asked by judge Edgar Saavedra, Megaworld Construction chairman, about her insights on the Duterte administration’s program.
With all honesty, she replied, “The insights of the government’s ‘Build, Build, Build’ program. Actually, I studied so much for this Q&A, but suddenly that’s something that I really don’t know much about. But, at least I’m here trying to answer a good question. Thank you!”
But in these photos by program chairperson Anna Mae Yu Lamentillo, Lemonon was acquainted by reading up on the “Build, Build, Build” program. “If Binibining Pilipinas event happened today, I’m sure it would be an entirely different story,” Lamentillo wrote in a Facebook post yesterday.
Despite the setback, Lemonon thanked her supporters and fans, and promised that she will come back to fight for her Bb. Pilipinas dream.
The Department of Transportation has sent out their support too, and was inspired to campaign further on the program. “Ms. Sandra Lemonon, thank you. You inspired us to campaign for ‘Build, Build, Build’ more. #FightFightFight lang, girl!” /ra
