It is no secret that Kapamilya singer/actress Kakai Bautista had a falling out with actor Ahron Villena over a debate of thoughts on a supposed part romance between them. Safe to say, she was “friendzoned”. But now, after their much-publicized “friendship over”, everything has been settled and the two lost friends have found their way back to each other once again.
“We’re good, we’re in good terms. We’re trying to do our best to work things out sa tingin ko mas inaayos na namin ‘yung friendship namin ngayon kung ano man ‘yun.
However, even when the wounds have healed the scars still remain. In fact, Bautista admitted that there were times when everything just flashbacks to her in a deluge which she unintentionally lets out on the actor.
It doesn’t mean na I hate you or I still hate you. Nangyayari lang talaga ‘yun na nag-fa-flashback minsan pero I’m trying my best.”
“He’s been very patient, and understanding and good. Saka in fairness naman sa kanya, okay ‘yung relationship namin ngayon,” she added.
Among the good turnouts of their renewed friendship is a movie project. The two will be starring in the romantic comedy flick “Harry and Patty”. But contrary to those saying that their reconciliation is a promotional tactic for the movie, Bautista denies such rumors.
“Hindi kasi bago pa i-offer ‘to at bago pa kami mag-story con or something, okay na kami.
Tatanggi ka ba ‘dun? Trabaho ‘yun noh. Sa’kin talaga una kong naisip, ay pera (shrieks),” she said.
Also, she clarified that the movie is not in any way relating to what had happened between them in real life.
“Medyo malayo siya from the real story. It’s about best friends pero sobrang malayo sa totoong naganap. Maganda ‘yung story, very cute.”
Bautista is set to have a major concert called “Kakai XV” on April 6 at the Music Museum. The concert will celebrate her 15 years in showbiz.
