Kakai Bautista: Just happy to be alone
Kapamilya comedian Kakai Bautista has been repeatedly dragged into would-have-been if not failed relationships.
But now that she’s completely healed, she no longer seeks romantic love and is actually at peace and ready should she be destined to live her life alone forever.
“I’m not looking for it,” she said at her exclusive interview on Wednesday at “Inquirer ShowbizLive.”
In fact, she said she was happy and enjoying life alone, so much that being loveless was no longer an issue for her.
“Ewan ko nga. Nawiwirduhan na ko sarili ko,” she said.

Bautista has been embroiled in controversies with men who were involved with her romantically.
Not too long ago, she was linked to Thai actor Mario Maurer. They first worked together in 2012 in the romantic-comedy film “Suddenly It’s Magic,” which was top-billed by the actor and Kapamilya actress Erich Gonzales.
But her most recent, and perhaps more socially devastating, encounter was with her best-turned-bitter friend and now good friend again, actor Ahron Villena. The two were at one point the center of controversies because of Villena’s words: “Naging tayo ba?”
That was his reaction to Bautista’s statements supposedly suggesting they had a past romance.
Now, things are good between them again. In fact, the two are doing a movie together titled “Harry and Patty.”
Bautista is set to have a major concert called “Kakai XV” on April 6 at the Music Museum. The concert will celebrate her 15 years in showbiz. /atm
