Kathryn Bernardo nixes tight pants for Daniel Padilla

Like his fun-loving mom Karla Estrada, Daniel Padilla enjoys wearing classic and comfortable clothes that send up Tinseltown’s trendy stars of yesteryears.
When asked to explain his fashion preference, he said, “I prefer the retro or vintage look, because I’m really an old soul. I don’t even mind being garbed in ukay-ukay clothes (laughs). Nakuha ko sa ermat ko ang fashion sense ko. For the most part, she lets me choose what I want to wear, but there are things she truly dislikes—like, she doesn’t want to see me wearing white shoes with white shirt, kasi nagmumukha daw akong si Sir (mentions a character actor’s name) (laughs).”
What about his constant screen partner, Kathryn Bernardo?
“Kathryn also doesn’t want me wearing very tight pants, kasi alam mo na… (laughs)!” he added. “Magaling manamit si Kath, as you can see. So, she doesn’t need my opinion in that regard. I just don’t like it when she wears overly revealing outfits—that’s where I put my foot down.”
Such disarming candor sets Daniel apart from other bland and boring interviewees in show biz.
