Selena Gomez flies to Texas hometown for ‘time away’ from Justin Bieber—report

Selena Gomez is spending time away from Justin Bieber back in her hometown in Texas after the pair reportedly had a disagreement over his birthday party.
A fan account reports that Gomez has been spending time with family while apart from Bieber. Gomez’ mother, Mandy Teefey, and her family supposedly haven’t been happy about their rekindled romance.

E! News reports that they clashed on his 24th birthday celebration. Gomez reportedly preferred something low-key, while Bieber wanted a big bash with church friends.
The “Sorry” singer spent the day without Gomez as he had a birthday lunch in West Hollywood and went go-karting with friends.
The tiff supposedly doesn’t mean anything final: the “Hands to Myself” pop star still greeted him on his big day via Instagram last March 1.

The pop singers reportedly have had small disagreements, but have remained in contact. “One fight, in particular, blew up and caused them to decide to ‘break up,’ however, they’ve been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed.”
“They will absolutely get back together and they are not over, but they both need some time away from each other,” a source told E! News.
While their social media accounts have kept mum on their status, they’ve been spotted together in public. In October 2017, the two began to see each other again in Los Angeles.
The next month, they were seen kissing at an L.A. ice hockey game and since then have taken trips together. They spent New Year’s Day in Mexico and went to Laguna Beach just before Valentine’s Day.
Gomez was Bieber’s date at his father’s wedding in Jamaica and reportedly fetched her from Dallas in a private jet.
