Giving the project even bigger “buzz” is the fact that Anne’s costar is no less than Fil-Am action star Brandon Vera.
Action is also Liza Soberano’s chosen way this year to raise the excitement level of her own career—by way of the latest “Darna” cinematic caper, as well as the new action-drama TV series, “Bagani.”
Fans of Bea Alonzo are similarly looking forward to her recently announced film starrer, “Kasal,” with Derek Ramsay and Paulo Avelino as the two swains vying for her hand in marriage.
Bea scrupulously makes sure that all of her TV-film outings are choice, so her burgeoning fan base is eager to see what beauties and bounties she has whipped up for their delectation in “Kasal.”
Fans are also eager to see how the thespic square-off between Paulo and Derek will turn out.
Earlier this year, the move for two leading men instead of one was initially made by Jodie Sta. Maria’s new rom-com series, “Sana Dalawa ang Puso,” with Robin Padilla and Richard Yap competing for her love, to great effect.
So, Bea’s follow-up “quandary” in “Kasal” should make for similarly diverting and involving viewing.
