Boyce Avenue back to PH on June 1
Boyce Avenue, the pop band that went viral online for its acoustic covers of contemporary and classic hits, will return to the Philippines for a one-night concert on June 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, according to local promoter Wilbros Live.
Composed of brothers Alejandro, Fabian and Daniel Manzano, the group’s covers and original material on the video-sharing site YouTube alone have amassed over 3.8 billion views. On Spotify, meanwhile, Boyce Avenue has 4.7 million listeners monthly.
The American trio will be joined onstage by Filipino singer-songwriter Moira dela Torre, a former “The Voice of the Philippines” contestant, who has endeared herself to young music fans with her hit “Malaya” and slowed-down covers of current hits.
