Joanna Ampil open to mentoring newbies

Award-winning musical theater and film actress Joanna Ampil says she is now entertaining the idea of mentoring, since there are quite a few people saying she could be an effective coach in talent shows like “The Voice” or a judge in “Tawag ng Tanghalan.”

“I say, ‘why not?’ I’m very open to these things. I’m aware that there are a lot of Filipinos who want to excel in this industry and are seeking help,” she says. “I’d do it for the experience. I don’t think a person should stop learning. I want to be able to learn constantly.”—MARINEL CRUZ
