Slater Young proposed to girlfriend Kryz Uy while they vacationed in Japan.
The “Pinoy Big Brother Unlimited” winner and the fashion blogger made the announcement on their social media pages. Uy is seen wearing a round-cut diamond-encrusted ring in their pictures.
“Here’s forever with you, love,” wrote Young.
“Once in a while, right in the middle of life, love gives us a fairytale,” said Uy of a picture of their hands against the snow in Niseko.
In one of Uy’s vlogs from December 2016, the two shared that they had been longtime friends before dating and had met through common friends in Cebu.
After his “PBB” win, Young, an engineer, focused on a business in line with his profession, particularly eco-friendly concrete blocks.

Uy runs her own fashion and lifestyle blog and has written a book, “Behind the Blog,” a guide on her line of work.

Young previously dated theater actress Rachelle Ann Go. The two split in 2014, allegedly due to the difficulty of a long-distance relationship. /ra
