Boisterous celeb lowers fee, to no avail

12:10 AM February 28, 2018

Should Boisterous Celeb join a remake of “Desperado” then? A mole alleged that handlers had resorted to slashing BC’s fees in order to attract potential job offers. Alas, it was all in vain.

No one wants to take the bait. Worse, not a few former cohorts are now avoiding BC like some diseased pariah.

BC need not concoct all sorts of conspiracy theories, though.

Why not consider the fact that folks simply got fed up with BC? That past shenanigans finally caught up with BC? If only BC were a bit nicer when the sun was shining, perhaps even strangers would gladly open their doors to offer refuge from the storm.

As they say, karma is a mean beaaatch!

Brewing brouhaha

There’s a brewing battle royale between Scurrilous Leader and Assertive Rebel who are supposed to be on the same team.

Intrigue-mongers are pitting SL against AR. As expected, ambitious SL seems to be encouraging the controversy. Perhaps SL considers AR a threat?

When the smoke clears, SL stands to benefit from this concocted feud. Seems there were cracks in this shaky alliance from the get-go. Tsk. Tsk.

Haunted

Gifted Veteran had a close encounter of the “eerie” kind in a former home. Late at night, GV would get assaulted by inexplicable noise and disturbing mishaps. No, it was not GV’s overactive imagination.

Even staffers felt there was something amiss in that spooky house. But when GV mistook a certain disembodied voice to be that of a housemate’s … that pushed GV to rush to the nearest exit. Afraid-y Aguilar!

Pot versus kettle

Friends can no longer tolerate Scintillating Luminary’s self-righteous ways. SL can be overly critical of other people’s life choices. SL had the gall to berate Willful Maven. SL insinuated that WM’s current troubles were retribution for past mistakes. Of course, WM didn’t suffer in silence. WM unleashed an epic tantrum that left SL speechless for once.

WM got peeved because SL’s own foibles were legendary, as well. Pot, meet Kettle.

Dud bod

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Friends are seriously concerned. Seems Amorous Charmer is hooked on one-night stands.

AC is a certified sex junkie. AC would not think twice about seducing giddy groupies, luring them into his boudoir with reckless abandon.

AC has become the subject of snide quips among some gals who tried but failed to avoid the trap. The “survivors” are laughing behind AC’s back, dismissing the stud as a dud.

Top of show biz news

For those who missed last weekend’s show biz news on TV (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Kathryn Bernardo on female empowerment: “Kung ano ang kaya ng lalake, kaya rin ng babae.” (Go, gurl!)

“Panahon ng Halimaw” actress Pinky Amador on losing weight for the Berlinale: “Sabi ko dapat yata mag-prepare ako nang konti! Dream naman ng lahat ng artista ’yan.” (Once-in-a-lifetime for most.)

Piolo Pascual on “Panahon ng Halimaw”: “The whole movie kinanta namin a cappella …You could see everyone studying their lines because everything was [done] in one take.” (Sings: “Under pressure.”)

Piolo Pascual

Robin Padilla on the recent get-together of his family and Aljur Abrenica’s: “Masyado akong natuwa, ako na’ng pinakamasayang tao nu’n … Mabuting pamilya ito.” (All’s well…)

Lovi Poe says having a cheat day from dieting is OK: “I don’t believe in restricting yourself.” (Korak!)

Carla Abellana on not getting jealous that Tom Rodriguez was paired with Lovi : “I know it’s just work … I see them as friends, too.” (OK, fine…)
